Live Event Production

Scarlet Multimedia has over 90 years of combined experience in live event production, on both the service and the artist sides. Our staff have toured the world with a wide variety of artists and genres, in roles that include front-of-house audio engineer, lighting director, tour manager and even bus driver! In other words, we know a thing or two, because we’ve done a thing or two.

We’re not new to the event production game (although we are branching out into additional service offerings with the launch of this entity), having been active in the Greater Cincinnati and general midwest service areas for 15 years previously. Yes, we took a long hiatus but we’ve returned to offer the Midwest and nation at large a new perspective on the multimedia services production industry.

We provide audio and lighting production services, of course, but also offer backline and video production, as well as turnkey event production services if you prefer. Our equipment is new and well-maintained — audio mixing consoles from Midas; microphones and wireless (including IEM systems) from Shure and Sennheiser; line-array and conventional PA and monitor systems; LED RGBW PAR and wash fixtures, and moving head fixtures from Clay Paky and Martin; theatrical lighting from Source4; video cameras and switchers from Sony and BlackMagic Design. Our backline inventory is also rider-friendly, with keyboards and organs from Hammond, Nord and Roland; amplifiers and cabinets from Marshall, Mesa/Boogie, Ampeg, Roland and Fender; drum kits from Yamaha and DW.

Video, Film And Soundstage

We are not limited to live event production. We are available to fill your video and film needs, whether that is wedding videos, ENG camera crew, documentary and independent filmmaking, YouTube content, advertising production, music videos, or anything in between. We can make the production process as turnkey as you like for your video/film project – scheduling and booking whatever staff and crew are necessary – or you can simply hire us for a director-of-photography and a camera. We can correct, match (for multi-cam shoots), grade and edit your footage, and deliver in all professional digital video formats. If you are using your own post-production teams, we can stream rushes to them as they are being shot.

We can also provide a 3,500-square-foot space with 12-foot ceilings for soundstage work, including chroma-keying (more commonly known as “green-screen”). We can custom-build whatever set you need, with virtual-production workflows planned for the near future.

And if you only need live video services for your event, we can provide the team and the equipment — as many camera angles as you need — in up to 4K 60p UHD, delivered via 12G-SDI, HDMI, NDI, as well as streaming directly to your YouTube or Twitch channel (or any other RTMP[S] endpoint) if you like, with professional live direction and camera operators.
